Zulu Technology is independent and small. We build a handful of apps for iPhone and look after them, rather than chasing the next thing.

What we make

Three apps, for now. Zulu is a study tool and reference for student pilots with practice questions, a logbook, and answers that cite the FAA source. Theme Park Pal keeps a group together at a theme park by putting everyone on one live map. MileShield tracks miles for gig drivers so tax time isn't a guess.

They don't have much in common on the surface. What they share is the approach.

How we think about it

We charge money for the apps. That means we don't run ads, and we don't sell what you do inside them. There's no reason to, because you're the customer, not the product. We collect what an app needs to work and not much else, and each app says plainly what that is.

We'd rather do a few things and keep them working than ship a long list and walk away. When something breaks, it gets fixed. When you write in, a real person reads it.
